Fossar Investment Bank hosts annual Iceland Capital Markets Day in London
Fossar Investment Bank’s annual Iceland Capital Markets Day was held in London on April 25th 2023.
Fossar Investment Bank hosted their annual Iceland Capital Markets Day at Claridge’s in London this week where foreign investors were invited to learn about the current state of the Icelandic economy and some of the most relevant themes in the local market. The major themes on the agenda were tourism rebounding, changing travelling trends and geopolitical developments. Fossar were joined by speakers Bjarni Benediktsson, Iceland’s Minister of Finance, Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO of Icelandair, Grimur Saemundsen, founder and CEO of Blue Lagoon, and Eldur Olafsson, CEO of Amaroq Minerals, in a series of interesting presentations.
Notably, this is the first Iceland Capital Markets Day hosted since Iceland´s reclassification to secondary emerging market status by FTSE Russell took full effect, attracting both passive and active inflows and attention.
