Runar Fridriksson is the director of Proprietary Trading.
Runar is a veteran of almost two decades in managing proprietary trading for financial companies. He started at Kaupthing in 2004 as a specialist in the proprietary trading department. From 2007 to 2011, he was head of Saga Capital’s proprietary trading and a specialist in proprietary trading at Straumur Investment Bank from 2012 to 2014. Before coming to Fossar, Runar worked at Arion Bank as a specialist in proprietary trading since 2015.
Runar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bifrost Business University and a BSc. in Business from the same school. He is also a certified securities broker.
