Magnus Orn serves as Head of Private Banking at Fossar and brings over two decades of experience in financial markets.

Prior to joining Fossa, he spent 16 years at Stefnir Asset Management Company, where he held senior roles, including Portfolio Manager and Head of Balanced Funds. In this capacity, he was responsible for the establishment, development, management, and distribution of investment funds for private banking clients. From 2020, he led Stefnir’s Equities and Balanced Funds division for nearly five years.

Earlier in his career, Magnus held positions at Fidelity Institutional Asset Management in Boston and at Kaupthing, where he specialized in institutional asset management.

Magnus holds an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, a degree in Business Administration from Reykjavík University and is a Certified Securities Broker.
