Magnus Ingi Einarsson
Chairman of the board
Magnus is the chairman of the board of Fossar Investment Bank.
Magnus currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of SKEL Investment Company. Previously, he worked for Kvika bank and its predecessor entities for over 16 years and has extensive knowledge of the financial markets. There he served, among other roles, as Managing Director of the Banking Division from 2019–2022 and as Managing Director of Finance and Operations from 2015–2019. Magnus was Head of Treasury at Straumur Investment Bank from 2012–2015 and worked in the bank’s Risk Management from 2006–2012.
Magnus sits on the boards of several companies owned by SKEL Investment Company, including Drangar, Orkan, Samkaup, Lyfjaval and Baridi Iceland.
Magnus holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland.
