Hreggviður Ingason is the Director of Fund Management within Fossar Investment Bank’s Asset Management department.
Before joining Fossar in 2021 Hreggviður was the CIO of Lífsverk lífeyrissjóður from 2016. Hreggviður previously supervised the settlement of Glitnir’s derivatives portfolio from 2010 to 2016 and was Head of Treasury Management at VBS Investment Bank from 2007 to 2010. Alongside his work, he has taught part-time at Reykjavík University and served as an expert judge in several court cases that have required expertise in the field of finance.
Hreggviður has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iceland. In addition, he holds master’s degrees in both economics from Boston University and financial mathematics from the University of Warwick. Hreggviður is also a certified securities broker.
