Gudmundur is the Director of Credit at Fossar Investment Bank.
Gudmundur has an extensive experience working within the financial industry. Before joining Fossar Investment Bank in 2024 Gudmundur was the CEO of Glymur Asset Management. Before starting Glymur in 2021 he was the Risk Officer for Kvika Asset Management. From 2008-2020 he was the COO/CRO at GAMMA Capital Management. He was the head of Derivatives Trading at Kaupthing from 2006 to 2008 and worked as a derivatives trader at Kaupthing from 2002 – 2006.
Gudmundur holds a B.Sc. in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland and is a Certified Securities Broker.
