Fossar Managed Reykjavík City’s Green Bond Private Placement
On June 25th 2021, Reykjavík City issued new bonds in the RVKNG 40 1 Green Bond series.
Bonds amounting to ISK 3,000m nominal were sold at a yield of 4,50%. Outstanding bonds in the series now amount to ISK 6,820m. The settlement date is June 30th 2021.
The bonds pay a fixed, non-indexed interest rate with an annual amortization schedule and have the final maturity date of August 21st 2040.
The purpose of the green bond auction is to fund green investment projects in accordance with the City of Reykjavík’s Green Bond Framework.
