Fossar largest in terms of market share on Nasdaq in 2021

Fossar Markets was the market leader in reported trades on the Nasdaq OMX Iceland Stock Exchange in 2021.

Fossar’s market share in reported trades in December was 11.4% in fixed income and 19.4% in equities, and 9.2% and 15.9% respectively for all trades.

In 2021, Fossar Markets is the leader in terms of reported trades in both fixed income and equities with 21.1% market share in fixed income and 25.5% market share in equities.

Total turnover in 2021 amounted to 2,329 billion ISK in fixed income and 2,120 billion ISK in equities. In 2021, reported trade turnover as a ratio of total turnover amounts to 63.5% in fixed income and 73.8% in equities.
