Fossar largest in terms of market share on Nasdaq in 2020

Fossar Markets was the market leader in reported trades on the Nasdaq OMX Iceland Stock Exchange in 2020.

Fossar’s market share in reported trades in December was 18.7% in fixed income and 25.0% in equities, and 14.8% and 19.3% respectively for all trades.

In 2020, Fossar Markets is the leader in terms of reported trades in both fixed income and equities with 21.6% market share in fixed income and 22.1% market share in equities.

Total turnover in 2020 amounted to 3,536 billion ISK in fixed income and 1,201 billion ISK in equities. In 2020, reported trade turnover as a ratio of total turnover amounts to 49.5% in fixed income and 66.4% in equities.
