Ellert Gudjonsson is a member of the Capital Markets team.
Before joining Fossar Investment Bank Ellert worked at Marel hf. as an Investor Relations Manager from 2022. Ellert has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry. He worked in Asset Management at Gildi Pension Fund (2020-2022), Corporate Finance at Arctica Finance hf. and HF Securities (2015-2020) and Deloitte FAS (2004-2007), Financial restructuring at the Resolution Committee of Landsbanki Islands / LBI hf. (2010-2015) and Arion Banki (2009-2010) and as an Equity analyst at Kaupthing Bank (2007-2008).
Ellert holds a MSc degree in Corporate Finance from Reykjavik University (2012) and BSc degree in Economics from the University of Iceland (2004). He has been a certified securities broker since 2010.
