Fossar Investment Bank hosted its annual Iceland Capital Markets Day at Claridge‘s in London last week, where a diverse agenda on investment opportunities in Iceland was covered. Sturla Palsson, director of markets at Central Bank of Iceland, addressed the current economic climate along with the outlook while Magnus Hardarsson, president of Nasdaq Iceland, gave insights into the future of the equities market and the progress already made in that space. Corporates from a variety of sectors also introduced themselves and their unique investment cases: Finnur Oddsson CEO of Hagar (retail), Halldor Benjamin Thorbergsson CEO of Heimar (real estate), Edward Wyvill Head of Corporate Development at Amaroq Minerals (mining), Pall Ragnar Johannesson CBO of Oculis (healthcare) and Haraldur Thordarson CEO of Skagi (financial).
