Fossar Markets elected a new board member at a shareholders meeting in December 2017. The new board member is Brynja Baldursdóttir. Brynja currently serves as the CEO of Creditinfo Iceland as well as being the regional director of Creditinfo Group in Northern and Southern Europe. Creditinfo Group has operations in 28 countries across the world. Adalsteinn Jonasson stepped down from the board as he was recently appointed judge in the newly formed middle-tier Icelandic Court of Appeals.
Brynja has extensive experience in management and strategic planning in the IT and sales sectors. She served as a director at Siminn and as a configuration manager at OZ communications. Brynja has a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland and a M.Sc. degree in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, United States.
